ISIS wins SA Master Builder of the Year – Commercial Builder 2011
FINAL RELEASE
Leading private construction company ISIS has been awarded the prestigious Commercial Builder award in the SA 2011 Master Builders Associations Building Excellence Awards, announced in the past week.
The highly respected Master Builders Association award is an acknowledgment of excellence in the construction and building industry and means ISIS is now entered for the National Commercial Builder 2011 award, to be judged in November.
“These awards affirm the client service, quality delivery and long-term relationship approach that ISIS takes to business,” said General Manager SA, ISIS, Grant Patterson. Mr Patterson was given the award in a special ceremony by the Hon Tom Koutsantonis MP, SA Minister for Industry and Trade, and Small Business.
“As one of Australia’s leading commercial fitout and refurbishment specialists, ISIS is responsible for many of Australia’s pioneering, sustainable construction projects in this sphere,” said Mr Patterson. “This award is of great merit as it recognises its standing now in SA within the industry’s top tier.”
According to the MBA judges’ comments on the award: “For Commercial Builders there’s an inordinate amount of kudos associated with being recognised as a Master Builders award winner – particularly for highly visible and immediately recognisable large-scale projects.”
On the back of consecutive years’ awards for Commercial Fit-out excellence, the company’s SA operation was given a number of significant project-based awards in the SA 2011 Building Excellence Awards:
· Excellence in a Commercial Fitout – Event Cinemas Marion, Candy Bar, Oaklands Park
· Excellence in a Commercial Refurbishment/ Redevelopment over $5 million – Woodcroft Community Centre Redevelopment, Woodcroft.
· A commendation for Excellence in a Commercial Fitout for the King William Street Greenstar facility for the Department of Correctional Services.
ISIS is a founding member of the Green Building Council of Australia
