Skype pooch in dog paradise while on holidays!

Vaughan constructions have recently completed a $2.2 million luxury resort hotel for dogs and cats.
This is the first time Vaughan has ever worked on this type of project, and the first time they have ever collaborated with Hanrob Dog Hotel and Kitty Kingdom – a national animal care company.
“It was a really fun and interesting project, and so different to anything else we have ever worked on,” said Scott Beyer, Project Manager.
Vaughan’s contract was for works up to internal fit out. The scope included a 1500sqm accommodation facility, a 250 sqm office, external paving for 25 car spaces, and a secured pet unloading area.
A pretty snazzy hotel! It cares for your dogs as well as offering training for your pooch when you are away on holidays.
Famous editor and publisher Ita Buttrose houses her dog Cleo there when she is out of Sydney and Melbourne radio presenter Grubby from 104.3 checked his “furchild Sascha” in last week.
“It’s an incredibly luxurious hotel, even by dog standards. There are chandeliers in the ‘luxury’ suites, and even TV’s so down the track owners can Skype their pets.” Mr Beyer says.
Hanrob already has similar ‘pet hotels’ in both Melbourne and Sydney, and pride themselves on offering the absolute best place for your pets to holiday.
This particular hotel is located conveniently in the Melbourne Airport area so owners don’t have to be apart form their pets a minute longer than necessary.
“The dog hotel is set in between a kids club, and a hotel (one for humans!), so there is heavy regulated sound requirements. The acoustic insulation spray was the answer. Even if you’re on the footpath out the front, you can’t hear the dogs.”
